Prick prick,
go my fingers on the spindle.
Drip drip,
go the liquids of my skin.
I know I shouldn’t have,
I know for next time
But next time never does come
soon enough,
and by then,
I shall continue in my ways,
pricking cautiously,
my fingers on the spindle.
